Turning data into
Evidence
Helping organisations
make sense of complex data
What I Do
Research & Policy Evaluation
I design and deliver data-driven research and policy evaluations, using robust social science methods to generate reliable evidence. My approach is tailored to each project, ensuring the analysis is both rigorous and relevant.
Data Analysis & Modelling
I combine classical statistical methods with modern computational techniques to extract insights from diverse datasets. My focus is on clarity, reproducibility, and supporting decision-making with robust results.
Misinformation Detection
I develop NLP and large language model–based systems for text classification and analysis across diverse sources, examining patterns, sources, and dynamics of misleading content, especially in climate communication.
Across all my work, I prioritise transparency, methodological rigour, and clarity. Insights are designed to be actionable, supporting evidence-based decisions.
About me
Aarhus Analytics is me, Mirjam Nanko, a quantitative social scientist based in Aarhus. I work as an independent consultant, partnering with organisations like DISCOURSELAB and the Centre for Climate Communication and Data Science.
With a PhD in Advanced Quantitative Methods from the University of Exeter, I specialise in applying data-driven methods to study climate communication and misinformation. I help researchers, public organisations, and non-profits use data to answer important questions and make better decisions.
